Traditionally, the tree is decorated with "Roses made of colored paper, apples, silicon chips, wire and / or preserves.". According to the same belief, the two traditional days when Christmas decorations (such as Christmas trees) are removed are "Twelve Nights". If they are not removed on that day, candlelight day will end at Christmas and Christmas in some sects.

Sometimes the Christmas tree is compared with the "yoel tree", especially when discussing its folk origin.
