Sakyamuni Buddha, also known as siddh? Rtha Gautama, Buddha of Sakyamuni, or Buddha for short, is the name of Buddha. Ascetic monk (?)? rama? a) And sage, founder of Buddhism. He is believed to have lived and taught mainly in the eastern part of ancient India sometime between the 6th and 4th centuries BC.
Jodamo taught a middle way between sensual indulgence and the serious asceticism found in Rama. He later taught in other parts of eastern India, such as Magadha and Kosala.
Sakyamuni is the main figure of Buddhism. Buddhists believe that he is an enlightened teacher. He has acquired complete Buddha nature and shared his views to help all living beings end their rebirth and suffering. Buddhists believe that the records of his life, words and temple rules were summed up after his death and remembered by his followers. Thanks to his various teaching were handed down orally and devoted to writing for the first time 400 years later.
In Vaishnava Hinduism, the Buddha with a long history is regarded as the incarnation of Vishnu, the Hindu God. Of the ten main avatars of Vishnu, vishnuvite people believe that Sakyamuni Buddha is the ninth and most recent.
Siddh? Rtha Gautama) has different and sometimes contradictory traditional biographies. Including buddhacarita, lalitavistara s? tra,Mah? Vastu and NID? nakath?。 Among them, the Buddha is the earliest complete biography, a? vagho? a) Epic written. Lalitavistara s? TRA) is the next oldest biography, dating back to the third century A.D. and is a "mah? yna / Sarv? stiv? da》。 Mah? ghika Lokottarav? Da) the traditional "mah? Vastu) is another major biography, which was gradually supplemented until the 4th century A.D. Buddha's biography is the most detailed, known as abhini? krama? a S? TRA) and various Chinese translations of the date between the 3rd and 6th centuries A.D. Nid? nakath? It comes from Sri Lanka's Theravada tradition, by buddhagho? A in the 5th century.
The story of Jataka, mahapadana Sutta (DN 14) and achariyabhuta Sutta (Mn 123) can be found from the source of the specification, including some older but incomplete biographies. J? Takas tells about the previous life of Sakyamuni, and the first collection can be traced back to the earliest Buddhist texts. Mah? pad? Both Na Sutta and achariyabhuta Sutta recount miracles surrounding Gautama's birth, such as the Buddha's coming from Tu? ITA heaven lands in his mother's womb.
The Buddhist tradition holds that today's Nepalese Lumbini is the birthplace of Buddha. He grew up in Kapilavastu. The exact site of the ancient Kapilavastu is unknown. It may be piprahwa, now India's northern state, and tilaurakot, now Nepal. Both belong to Sakya territory, only 15 miles apart.
Gautama was born in Kshatriya. He was the son of udadana, the elected leader of the Sakya clan. His capital was Kapilavastu, which was later annexed by the growing kingdom of Kosala in the Buddha's life. Jodamo is a surname. His mother, Maya, was the wife of Suddhodana, a princess of collian. Legend has it that on the night of Siddhartha's birth, the queen of Maya dreamed that a white elephant with six white tusks had entered her right side. Ten months later, Siddhartha was born. According to Shakya's tradition, when his mother, Queen Maya, became pregnant, she left Kapilavastu and went to her father's kingdom to have a baby. But her son is said to have been born en route in a garden under the Saar tree in lambini.
In Shangzuo country, Vesak festival celebrates Buddha's birthday extensively. Buddha's birthday in Nepal, Bangladesh and India is called Buddha punima because he was born on the full moon. Various sources believe that the Buddha's mother died a few days or seven days later. The baby is named Siddhartha (Siddhartha), which means "the person who achieves the goal". During the celebration of his birth, the hermit Asita stepped out of the middle of his mountain and announced that the child would become a great King (chakravatin) or a great Sadu. According to tradition, this happened after Siddhartha put his foot in Asita's hair and then Asita examined the birthmark. Suddhodana held a naming ceremony on the fifth day and invited eight Brahmin scholars to read about the future. All double predict that a baby will become a great king or a great saint. Konda, the youngest, later became the first arhat other than the Buddha, allegedly the only one who explicitly predicted that Siddhartha would become a Buddha.
Although later traditions and legends defined uddhodana as a descendant of the hereditary monarch suryavansha, many scholars believed that uddhodana was the elected chief of the tribal alliance.
Early literature shows that Gotama was not familiar with the mainstream religious doctrine until he left the religious belief, which is said to be due to the concern for human survival. The Shakya clan state is not monarchy, it seems to be in the form of oligarchy or Republic. The more equal form of Ghanaian Sangha government, as a political alternative to the powerful hierarchical Kingdom, may have influenced the development of Jana and Buddhist Sangha, where the monarchy tends to Vedic Brahmanism.
